Mexican authorities deported 110 undocumented Honduran nationals via a National Guard plane out of Villahermosa, Tabasco, on January 21, according to a press release from the National Institute of Migration (INM).
Video from the INM shows people boarding a plane at Tabasco’s Villahermosa International Airport. The plane was bound for San Pedro Sula, Honduras, the INM said.
In a press release, the INM said the Mexican government was committed to “safe and orderly” migration. “The air return, the first of several planned, was carried out in strict adherence to respect for human rights, in agreement with the authorities of the Honduran government, and in compliance with the current immigration rules and procedures.” Credit: Instituto Nacional de Migración via Storyful
