NYPD Investigate Hair-Pulling Attack on Asian Woman in Brooklyn

The New York Police Department (NYPD) issued an appeal for information regarding the suspect in an attack against an Asian woman on a south Brooklyn sidewalk on the morning March 22.

The NYPD said a man approached and grabbed a 32-year-old Asian woman and pulled her hair, “causing pain to her head and neck.”

Security footage released by police shows the attack outside 1308 Kings Highway in Brooklyn’s Homecrest neighborhood. Police said the attack took place shortly at around 7.45 am. No words were exchanged between the suspect and the victim, police said, and the woman declined medical attention at the scene. Credit: NYPD via Storyful
