Crowds in Perth joined hundreds of thousands of others across Australia to watch a live announcement of the Marriage Law Postal Survey on November 15.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics released results of the $122 million postal survey on Wednesday morning. After the ABS chief announced at 61.6 per cent vote in favour of changing laws to allow same-sex couples to marry, crowds across the country erupted in cheers – including in Northbridge Piazza, where this video was filmed.
