Conservative MP and Leader of the House of Commons Jacob Rees-Mogg was the target of shouts of “shame” by anti-Brexit protesters who followed him as he left parliament in Westminster on Saturday, October 19.
In this video, one man can be heard shouting “scumbag,” while others shout “shame on you.”
Another person can be heard shouting “no surrender.”
Journalists on the scene said Rees-Mogg was accompanied by his young son, who is not visible in this video.
British MPs earlier voted to withhold approval of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal until legislation to legally implement it has been passed.
