Providence Police Release Body Cam, Additional Footage of Officer-Involved Shooting

On Friday, November 10, the Providence Police Department released body camera and highway camera footage of a November 9 officer-involved shooting near the Providence Place mall.

According to reports, “two or three dozen” shots were fired at a white pickup truck after it led police on a chase. One man was killed and a woman was injured after at least nine Providence police and state troopers discharged their weapons, the report said.
