Rare Landspout Moves Through Amsterdam

A rare landspout moved through Amsterdam on August 9, causing damage to trees and buildings, according to local reports.

The Dutch national weather forecasting service described the event as either a landspout or waterspout, while the private Dutch weather service Weer Plaza called it a weak (EF0) tornado.
