Savannah Police Officers Save Man From Burning Building

Police officers in Savannah, Georgia, assisted by a Board of Education officer, rescued a man from a burning building early on Friday, January 12.

The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department said that police officers were first on the scene. Two people made it out of the building, but a third was still inside when the officers heard sounds from inside, kicked the door in, and pulled him out. The victim sustained burn injuries and was taken to hospital.
