A semi-truck ran a red light and struck an Ashwaubenon Public Safety officer on Monday, February 11, in snowy conditions. The officer was proceeding forward into the intersection when the semi rammed into his patrol car.
According to Ashwaubenon Public Safety, the officer was “initially trapped” but was able to be freed without sustaining injuries.
The street was closed for about two and a half hours and the driver of the semi-truck was cited for operating too fast for conditions, according to police. Credit: Ashwaubenon Public Safety via Storyful
