Smoke From Bushfire Fills Sky North of Perth

An emergency warning was declared in Yanchep, a suburb north of Perth in Western Australia, on December 11 due to raging bushfires.

Perth Now said that evacuation orders were put in place for residents of Yanchep as the fire continued to spread to the northwest in an “unpredictable” manner. About 1,400 Western Power customers in the area had lost power, reports said.
