A deadly storm brought high winds and dangerous conditions to the Netherlands and other parts of northern Europe on January 18. Falling trees and debris from the storm reportedly killed at least five people.
This video, shot in The Hague, shows wind dislodging an array of solar panels, which crashes off a three-story building onto the ground.
Winds of more than 90 mph (144 kmh) reportedly battered the Netherlands on Thursday, causing destruction across the country. A code red warning was put in place for central parts of the country, and a code orange for the rest. Authorities suspended all flights to and from Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport due to the conditions.
