A 24-year-old, 880-pound Syrian brown bear at a New York wildlife center that specializes in caring for the giant animals enjoyed a round of bedtime belly scratches, recent footage posted on YouTube shows.

The Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York, nurtures orphaned animals in the hope they can be returned to the wild.

The center often releases videos and updates about the animals in its care to its YouTube channel and Facebook page.

This video shows bear Leo give one of his carers playful nibbles as he receives a prolonged belly scratch.
