A fire swept through a bakery and restaurant on Minerva Road in London’s Park Royal area on the evening of July 23, fire officials said, producing a cloud of thick, dark smoke visible from several miles away.
The London Fire Brigade said 15 fire engines and 80 firefighters were tackling the blaze, and urged people to close their windows due to “a lot of thick black smoke.” The fire service has earlier reported that there were residential properties were involved, but later said that was not the case.
The fire brigade said 50 calls were made about the fire to emergency services.
The fire was still burning at the time of writing, and no further details were available. Credit: @7oaksGBKschool via Storyful
