Thomas Cook Employee Takes Video of Last Flight to Glasgow Landing

Nathan Willock, an engineer with Thomas Cook, took video of the tour operator’s last flight into Glasgow as it landed early on Monday morning, September 23, hours after the company was declared insolvent.

The flight, from Orlando, landed at 5.44 am local time, according to FlightRadar24.

Thomas Cook ceased trading on Monday morning after last-ditch talks to avert insolvency failed. The company’s collapse left hundreds of thousands of people stranded, according to Reuters.

The collapse followed the British government’s refusal to grant the company a £250 million bailout, according to the BBC. Credit: Nathan Willock via Storyful
