One Kansas Highway Patrol trooper found an efficient way to clear the thick coat of ice that had formed on the driver’s side window of his car on the morning of January 17, as seen in this footage posted to Twitter.
Trooper Benjamin Gardner filmed himself smashing the sheet of ice from inside his car at the start of his shift in Lindsborg. He warned in the post that it was “very icy out” and he “nearly fell just walking to [his] patrol car.”
