Virginia Police Swarm Ballston Quarter in Arlington, Say 'No Evidence' of Active Shooter Found

Police rushed to a mall at Ballston Quarter, Arlington, Virginia, on September 14 after reports of an active shooter sparked panic at the venue.

The mall was evacuated after initial reports of a shooting inside the Regal Theatre; however, police said they found no evidence of a shooter at the scene. One person was injured during the evacuation, police said.

“We all ran. Some people left their phones and wallets and everything. I didn’t know anything and so we just ran,” a young girl told local media.
