Mang Anton caught the media's attention last year when he was snapped pushing his pedicab that he calls home with the dogs he rescued.

Mang Anton collects scraps and sells them to put food on the table, sharing what little he has with his two children, ten dogs and eight puppies.

Petster.PH describes Mang Anton as a "kind soul" who has chosen to rescue the stray dogs despite his needs.

Mang Anton is frequently seen around Banawe, Recto and Sampaloc areas. He went viral after Petster.PH had difficulties locating him as the online pet store wanted to offer the relocation to Mang Anton earlier.

Petster.PH is a pet store that sells more than 800 pet products online. They donate 50% of their profits to animal welfare, aside from aiding in rescue operations for animals in need. Petster.PH has partnerships with The Philippine Animal Welfare Society, Pawssion Project, Hound Haven and the Petster Shelter.

Mang Anton, his two children, and 18 fur fam are finally off the streets!
