The death toll from wildfires raging in southern Turkey reached eight by Sunday, August 1, local reports citing officials said.
More than 100 fires were reported over several days, with most contained by August 2. Several tourist areas were affected, and some fires were still burning in Mugla and Antalya, and in Tunceli province, on Monday.
