A small food bank in Maginhawa, Quezon City has inspired other areas to setup their own "community pantries".

The idea is for residents to donate goods to help others affected by the pandemic.

The community pantries operate with the principle "Magbigay ayon sa kakayahan, kumuha batay sa pangangailangan. (Give what you can, take what you need.)"
