A ygood-looking Filipino priest has been making rounds on Facebook for giving up “the prestigious position of Rector at the St. John Vianney Seminary in Florida ... to work in depressed parishes.”

Father Ranhilio Aquino, San Beda College of Law dean, made a post about the priest identified as Fr. Ferdinand “Ferdi” Santos that has since gone viral, eliciting praises from the online community. The post has garnered more than 1,500 likes and has been reposted countless times.

Santos is not just a professor of philosophy and theology, he is also a certified fitness coach who has captivated the internet community with his stunning looks and good physique.

According to Aquino, he met Santos while the latter was a student of post-doctoral research. The two also went together in the classes of Prof. Jan van der Veken on Process Metaphysics.

Santos told Yahoo Philippines that he came home to the Philippines after 17 years to do ministry and evangelize. He said that "it's been great being home even if [he] did test positive for COVID last August 5th." The priest added that "another thing he'd like to be able to do - is to encourage people to get vaccinated."

The priest also stressed his call for hope. "Perhaps we can slowly create a more hopeful and less negative environment," he said. He added that "there's so much hope and inspiring things going on amidst the pandemic."
