AIMING to bring more delight to the Cebuanos in the south, Yoyi’s Cakes and Pastries Cebu (originally from Ormoc) opened its second branch in Cebu at Southscape Talisay on Sept. 14. A simple store blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony were the main highlights of the store’s grand opening with guests of honor Talisay City Mayor Samsam Gullas and First Lady Rhea Aquino-Gullas. A solemn mass was held prior to the ribbon cutting, officiated by Fr. Jun Rebayla.
Yoyi’s opened its first branch outside of Ormoc seven years ago in Fuente Osmeña, Cebu City and just recently after numerous customer demands in the south, it finally decided to open a new branch to cater to more clientele.
What makes this new branch special is that it will also be offering Al Fresco Dining and a “Park and Dine” accessibility for bikers who seek to enjoy their Yoyi’s favorites while on the go.
Yoyi’s’ wide variety of sweets and treats, which are affordable yet delicious, have always been a game-changer on their own. Best-sellers include cassava bars, choco crinkles, buko pies, its signature dessert Heavenly Mango Cake, the Double-Baked Blueberry Cheesecake and Mango Cheesecake. The Ube Halaya Cake is also a customer-favorite and definitely a must-try!
Newest additions to the menu include its classic showstopper Single Origin Chocolate Caramel Cake and the Strawberries & Cream Cake. Soon they will also be introducing bread treats.
