UNBEATEN prospect John Michael Zulueta returns to Thailand and faces Thai Sittichai Nimnual for the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) light flyweight belt on Sept. 28 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.

Zulueta is fighting for the third straight time in Thailand. He fought Indonesian veteran Jack Amisa and stopped him in six rounds last May 14. He followed it up with a first round technical knockout of Thai Somphon Banyaem.

Zulueta is currently ranked No. 14 by the World Boxing Association (WBA) in the minimumweight division.

Nimnual is coming into this fight as the underdog. He split his fights in 2022, beating Mongkol Kamsommat by unanimous decision before losing to Viraphat Mualsuk by unanimous decision.

Zulueta is 13-0-2 with six knockouts, while Nimnual is 4-2 with three knockouts.

In the main event, unbeaten Pakistani Usman Wazeer (8-0, 5 KOs) locks horns with Thai Somphot Seesa (8-3-1, 6 KOs) for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Youth welterweight belt.

Indian prospect Shiva (15-3-1, 7 KOs) will slug it out with undefeated Malaysian Adli Hafidz (10-0, 6 KOs) for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Asian Boxing Council Continental super middleweight belt.
